CC4G in Wales receives Welsh Assembly Government support
The Welsh Assembly Government is supporting the rollout of CC4G across Wales during 2007 and 2008. Invitations to participate in the delivery of programme were issued to Education Authorities in January and rollout to schools began in April.
Welsh Translation
The Welsh Assembly Government has provided funding to enable CC4G to translate elements of the CC4G website, courseware and support materials into Welsh for the benefit of Welsh speaking schools and users.
Please note that the translation does not cover all of CC4G.
The Celebrity topic of the Courseware is now available in Welsh for use by Welsh speaking pupils and staff.
The How2 support guides and some Topic guides have also been translated into Welsh to aid with the Celebrity challenges.
Most of the password-protected web pages (not including Courseware pages) are available in Welsh.
Upon logging in, you will notice that you now have the option to switch to Welsh. This switch will direct you to Welsh language pages and also enable CC4G to recognise Welsh as your preferred language. This means that each subsequent page you visit will appear in Welsh (where available). Those pages that have not been translated will appear in English. Please tell your Club members about this new option if they are a Welsh speaker.
